PROFESSIONAL CAREER, EXPERIENCE, VALUES AND GOALS

My vita and negotiation development are strongly influenced by international and intercultural occasions. Mostly this increases complexity of negotiations but also teaches core values like patience, sympathy, change of perspective and the importance of relationships. 

The most important experiences

  • High-School Year in South Carolina (USA)
  • education of business economist for foreign trade in Hamburg (Germany)
  • internship in Shanghai (China)
  • project manager with partly working in Värnamo (Sweden)
  • Bachelor's degree "European Economic" at Otto-Friedrich-University in Bamberg (Germany)
  • two terms at Universidad de Alcalá de Henares (Spain)
  • Master of Science in Business Administration with focus on "Intercultural Management" in Bamberg (Germany)
  • for many years full-time job in procurement in automobile industry at a japanese system supplier
  • negotiations with suppliers mainly from Asia and Europe about different terms like pricing, quality, delivery reliability, payments etc. 
  • diverse advanced trainings and seminars with professional negotiation experts in German-speaking countries


 My vision

  • In Germany the pay gap between men and women is about 18% (source: statista.com). That means women earn on average gross 4.31€ per hour less than men do. We should change this and are able to do so. I am convinced that most of what drives us towards a goal is laying in ourselves. 
  • I have a wish: I still want to expierence the end of gender pay gap. Let us demand this vision together with a whole lot of female aptitude, a strong self-confidence, the theoretical knowledge and the necessary courage. 


What else to know about me... 

  • At home I deal with daily negotiations with my two kids who have learnt a lot already. (a great deal of annoyance for my husband) :-D
  • I work avocational with you on your negotiation power. So let us find individual appointments. 
  • To bring forward ideas for all tasks of my life, I need to move myself. I love to hike (with a great view on Thuringian Forest), to break out in a sweat in the gym or to do horse riding.  
  • I have mainly worked with men in business life. It's a pleasure to me but it was not always for them. :-D I am convinced that women are able to negotiate at the same level as men or even better. All we need is a combination of typical female communication skills and strength of purpose.
